Antimalarial activity of synthetic compounds: role of Plasmodium kinase signaling and the development of a transdermal device for drug delivery

Objectives

This project aims at the generation of topical antimalarial release devices under development by the laboratory, based on polymeric membranes of different architectures, and the screening of compounds with antimalarial potential.
