Scalable production of mosquito genome reference assemblies to provide a key resource for malaria elimination

Objectives

To sequence and perform computational analysis to create reference genomes for 10+ Anopheles vector species, resulting in a more streamlined pipeline to create reference genomes for new species of malaria vectors.

Specific Objectives

1. Generation of 10+ Anopheles species full reference genomes;
2. Protocol created to easily sequence and assemble new mosquito genomes.
