Improving the quality of health facility data to monitor trends in malaria burden: Effectiveness of the Improvement Collaborative Approach

Objectives

The overall goal of this project is to study the effectiveness of Improved Collaboration as an approach to improving the quality of health facility data.

The specific objectives are to:

  1. Identify key barriers to collecting high quality health facility data;
  2. Identify interventions that can be carried out without additional external resources (i.e., direct funding, commodities, staff);
  3. Identify monitoring and evaluation indicators that can be used to determine whether the IC approach is improving the quality of health facility malaria data.
