Evaluation of the efficacy of clothianidin based insecticides and pirimipos-methyl CS (Actellic 300 cs) in experimental huts when partially sprayed on surfaces against natural populations of Anopheles gambiae in Tiassale, Cote d’Ivoire

Objectives

This experimental hut study will compare partially sprayed surfaces with walls that are fully sprayed (serving as positive controls) with SumiShield 50WG (SS-WG) and Actellic 300CS, developed by Sumitomo Chemical or Fludora Fusion WP-SB (FF-WP) developed by Bayer. The primary objective is to determine the efficacy in terms of percent mosquito mortality for huts partially sprayed with IRS as compared to huts fully sprayed and not sprayed.
