Effectiveness of intermittent screening and treatment of malaria in pregnancy (ISTp) on maternal and birth outcomes in selected districts in Rwanda
Objectives
The primary objective is to assess whether intermittent screening and treatment of malaria in pregnancy (ISTp) plus routine antenatal care provide a protective effect against malaria at delivery among pregnant women in high transmission areas in Rwanda when compared to women who receive routine antenatal care as per the local guidelines.
