Designing LED lights that minimise the attraction of potential malaria vectors
Objectives
This research involves investigating mosquito behaviour in response to different spectral properties of light via insect traps. DNA barcoding will then be used to identify potential malaria vectors. This information will then be used to design lights that are less attractive to malaria vectors.
