National Malaria Strategic Plans & Related Documents

Published: 27/10/2026

National Malaria Strategic Plans (NMSPs) are the backbone of country-led malaria control and elimination efforts. Yet these plans and related national policies and guidelines are not always easy to find. This collection brings together current and past NMSPs and related national policy documents, such as national treatment and diagnostic guidelines, into a single, browsable resource, organised by country and plan period.

By providing a shared reference point, the collection makes national strategic plans easier for researchers, funders, national malaria programmes, policymakers, implementers, and other stakeholders to find and use.  It can also support cross-country comparison of targets, strategic approaches, implementation strategies, performance indicators, coordination mechanisms, integration across programmes targeting co-endemic diseases, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks, and resource mobilisation strategies. These comparisons can help identify common challenges, opportunities for collaboration, complementary action and shared learning.

This living collection will be updated regularly as new documents become available. Your contributions can help improve coverage and usefulness.
