The Togo Plan Strategique National de Lutte Contre le Paludisme 2023-2026 aligns with the National Health Development Plan and the government’s 2020-2025 roadmap. It is developed based on an inclusive and participatory process with the effective involvement of all stakeholders.
Its goal is to contribute to improving the health of the population by significantly reducing the burden of malaria by 2026.
To achieve this, the following objectives have been set:
- ✓ reduce the incidence of malaria by at least 65% compared to 2022;
- ✓ reduce malaria-related mortality by at least 65% compared to 2022;
- ✓ strengthen malaria control management capacities at all levels, taking into account climate challenges and the vulnerability of populations to climate change.
