APMEN REACH: Connecting Countries, Partners, and Technical Innovations for Malaria Elimination

The Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN), established in 2009, is a regional platform that supports malaria elimination through collaboration, technical innovation, and country-led action. Bringing together 22 member countries, more than 50 partner institutions, and over 6,000 professionals.
This report highlights the APMEN REACH Approach, which emphasizes geographic, stakeholder, and technical reach to accelerate malaria elimination efforts across the Asia Pacific region. Through trusted partnerships, peer learning, inclusive governance, and evidence-based innovation, APMEN helps countries address shared challenges, strengthen national capacities, and scale effective solutions. The case study demonstrates how regional networks can foster adaptive collaboration and provide valuable lessons for global health initiatives focused on malaria elimination and vector-borne disease control.
