AMDR Action is a group of malaria researchers, policy experts, and partners, funded by Coefficient Giving, working together to translate emerging scientific evidence on drug resistance into coordinated action.
The effort focuses on three priorities:
1. Synthesising the latest evidence: Bringing together new research on where resistance is emerging, how it may spread, and the economic consequences of delayed action.
2. Communicating the risk clearly: Developing accessible materials for policymakers, donors, and media to ensure the issue receives the attention it requires.
3. Mobilising early action: Encouraging governments and global health partners to invest in targeted resistance mitigation before treatment failure becomes widespread.
