Sustaining attendance of antenatal care (ANC) – Uganda
Objectives
The main goal of this project is to maintain community attendance at health facilities for routine ANC services and support quality service provision to mitigate the threat of missed opportunities to provide essential preventive services for pregnant women while assuring protection for health care workers.
In July 2020, CDC’s COVID-19 Response International Task Force approved funding for six malaria-focused projects to mitigate the secondary impact of COVID-19 on malaria control program activities in 4 African counties and Haiti. The overall goal of these projects was to improve our understanding of how to safely deliver malaria control interventions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
