Macrocyclic lactones as an additional measure for malaria parasite and vector control in Ethiopia

Objectives

This proejct aims to conduct comparative efficacy and pharmacokinetic studies of different macrocyclic lactones (MLs) in local cattle breeds targeting the vector mosquitoes, evaluate and compare the MLs regarding their sporontocidal and gametocytocidal effect on the malaria parasite.
