Women for Africa Foundation Call for Applications: 2026 Learn Africa Programme

The Women for Africa Foundation launches a new call for applications for the Learn Africa programme, an initiative that, over the years, has provided 462 African women with meaningful opportunities for academic training, research, and leadership, thereby strengthening their contribution to the development of their communities.

The 2026 edition marks a further step forward in the programme’s evolution, with the award of more than 100 scholarships, including 28 continuity scholarships, which will support ongoing academic pathways while opening up new opportunities across an expanding range of disciplines.

Requirements: 

  • Be a woman and hold the nationality of, and reside in, an African country.
  • Be enrolled in an African university or hold a university degree issued by an African institution. The required degree may vary depending on the scholarship applied for (see the detailed information for each scholarship).
  • Meet the specific requirements of the scholarship for which you are applying.
  • Only one application per person will be accepted.

Scholarships 2026-2027:

All the scholarships offered in this call will begin during the 2026-2027 academic year and may unfold over several years, depending on the scholarship applied for.
