WHO Launch of the Global Research Agenda on Knowledge Translation and Evidence-informed Policy-making

The World Health Organization (WHO)’s Research for Health Department will officially launch the “Global Research Agenda on Knowledge Translation and Evidence-informed Policy-making”.

Date: 15th of May, 2025

Time: 1pm CET

Location: On-line

This virtual event will celebrate two years of collaborative efforts between WHO and a diverse group of 130 experts from civil society, academia, government institutions, United Nations agencies, and other international organizations, representing over 40 countries across all WHO regions.

Objectives of the event:

  • Present the Global Research Agenda and highlight its goals, significance, and relevance for strengthening evidence-informed policy-making.
  • Showcase the collaborative development process, acknowledging the contributions of a broad and diverse group of interest-holders.
  • Outline the implementation roadmap and invite participants to continue engaging in dissemination efforts and future activities.
