Volunteer as MESA Correspondent to report from the MESA Webinars: Science for Malaria Impact
The Malaria Eradication Scientific Alliance (MESA) is seeking volunteers as MESA Correspondents to report from the online MESA Webinars: Science for Malaria Impact. The webinars will be held every first Wednesday of the month starting in May until December and will last 1h starting at 2:00 pm CEST.
Immunologists, social scientists, epidemiologists, clinicians, data collectors, pathologists, community engagement specialists, entomologists, policy-makers, and many others are all innovating to defeat malaria… MESA will bring this community of innovators together and celebrate a series of monthly discussions: the MESA Webinars to showcase the work of malaria-endemic researchers.
Next webinar to be covered is MESA Webinar 3 – Integrating Genomics into the Malaria Interventions Toolbox.
The MESA Correspondent volunteers report on the latest in malaria research from conferences around the world. The synopses are shared online, enabling people who could not attend the meeting to read about the latest advances. Readers can also receive the reports in their inbox by subscribing to the MESA newsletter. The MESA Correspondents Programme is a collaboration between MESA and the conference organizers.

The application to become a MESA Correspondent for the MESA Webinars: Science for Malaria Impact, consists of:
- Curriculum vitae
- Motivation statement (100-word limit) indicating which areas of malaria you have knowledge of.
- Synopsis of one of these videos (200-word limit)

The opportunity to be a correspondent is open to everyone, and students from the malaria field especially are encouraged to apply.
