PHI/CDC Call for Applications: Global Health Fellowship Program
The Public Health Institute (PHI) Global Health Fellowship Program is a U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention-funded program that offers recent global public health graduates from Council on Education in Public Health accredited schools and programs the exciting opportunity to participate in yearlong fellowships with guidance from leading global health experts from the CDC. This exciting program is called Global Health Fellowship Program.
Fellows are placed in Atlanta and in CDC offices abroad where they will work on the front lines of global health while developing the technical and professional skills needed to make meaningful contributions to today’s global health challenges across six technical tracks:
- Epidemiology
- HIV Prevention
- Surveillance
- Strategic Information
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Program Management
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- MPH, MSPH or PhD in Public Health from a CEPH accredited school or program required. Not sure if your school or program is accredited? Find out here.
- Recent graduates must have received their MPH or PhD in Public Health prior to the beginning of the fellowship (no later than June 2021) or within the last five years (no earlier than September 2016).
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident and authorized to work in the U.S.
