This exciting program is called Global Health Fellowship Program.

Fellow Financials:

  • Fellows receive a stipend allowance. Stipends for fellowship placements are based on Atlanta’s GS payscale – GS-8 Step 1 (MPH) and GS-9 Step 1 (PhD in PH).
  • In addition to stipends, fellows are provided predetermined allowances in the following categories: housing, local travel, travel/training and health. Amounts vary based on fellowship location and scope of work. Actual amounts are shared upon offer of fellowship placement.
  • Domestic-based fellows are responsible for their own relocation expenses.
  • Overseas-based fellows receive a one-time shipping allowance.
  • Fellows are responsible for obtaining adequate medical coverage. The health allowance provided is meant to offset this cost. Proof of medical coverage is required before beginning the fellowship placement.
