LSHTM Lecture: Vector borne diseases in the genomics era

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is inviting you to the Inaugural Lectures series event - Vector borne diseases in the genomics era. In this inaugural lecture, Susana Campino, Professor of Genomics and Infectious Diseases, will present how genomics has been contributing to our understanding of and response to infectious diseases transmitted by arthropods, particularly malaria and arboviral infections. It will take place online and in-person in London, UK on June 14, 2023.

Mahidol University Calls for Applications: Sylvia Meek Scholarship for Medical Entomology

Mahidol University is calling for applications for the Sylvia Meek Scholarship for Medical Entomology. Globally, there is a shortage of medical entomologists. A gap in training opportunities has led to a shortfall of technical specialists in the field. To help bridge this gap, Malaria Consortium set up a scholarship programme to fund scholars from Africa and Asia to pursue their studies in Medical Entomology at partner institutions.  Application deadline June 15, 2023.
