The African BioGenome Project (AfricaBP) Open Institute orgagnizes the East and Central Africa Regional Workshop 2025. This five-day workshop aims to establish and connect scientists and institutes that are role players in the African BioGenome Project (AfricaBP) initiative, create awareness and galvanize institutions and researchers at the regional level to drive the vision and objectives of AfricaBP. Date: 4th – 8th August 2025 (0900 – 17:00hrs EAT). Format:  First two days are presentation sessions (hybrid); while the last three days are practical sessions (in-person only). This hybrid workshop will be coordinated and held at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Juja, Kenya, and virtually through Zoom. It will also be live-streamed on the AfricaBP YouTube and Twitter channels.
