Workshops to write grant proposals

The BOVA Network has opened a call to facilitate grant writing workshops.  Up to six workshops will be funded. The closing date for applications is Friday 16th August 2019, applicants will be informed of the decision by mid-September 2019.

Algeria and Argentina certified malaria-free by WHO

On 22nd May 2019, Algeria and Argentina have been officially recognized by WHO as malaria-free. The certification is granted when a country proves that it has interrupted indigenous transmission of the disease for at least 3 consecutive years.

Request for Proposals: Humanitarian Grand Challenge

Creating Hope in Conflict: A Humanitarian Grand Challenge seeks life-saving or life-improving innovations to help the most vulnerable and hardest-to-reach people impacted by humanitarian crises caused by conflict. Key focus areas are safe water and sanitation, energy, life-saving information, and health products and services. Final submissions are due on Tuesday 16 July 2019 at 11:00 am Eastern Time.
