NIHR Call for Applications: Global Health Research Cohort Academic Development Award (GHR CADA) (Cohort 5)
The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is calling for applications for its Global Health Research Cohort Academic Development Award (GHR CADA) (Cohort 5).
This funding opportunity supports cohorts of NIHR Global Health Research Academy Members, primarily focussed in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), to undertake training and career development activities.
Eligibility:
- be a Training Lead, Co-Lead, GAF or GHRP in NIHR GHR Programmes with a contract end date after 31 December 2026.
- NIHR GHR Academy Members (early career researchers), from your programme, can be co-applicants on the application.
- NIHR GHR Academy Members, training leads or NIHR GHR programme directors, from a different GHR programme, can be collaborators on the application.
Funding information:
- Applicants can request up to £30,000 to deliver a programme of activities.
- Funding covers:
- training courses
- travel, accommodation and subsistence for the delivery of the programme
- speaker and facilitator costs
- operational delivery costs such as venue hire, internet connectivity and printing
