Naveen Jindal call for Applications: Young Global Research Fellowship
O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) is a research-intensive university that is deeply committed to its core institutional values of impact, diversity, excellence, academic freedom and sustainability. JGU introduced the Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship with a view to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and academic growth among young Ph.D. scholars and faculty members. This one-year fellowship is designed to host and cultivate a dynamic intellectual environment for researchers from diverse disciplines across the globe.
The fellowship is structured around three key components:
- Collaborative Research: Participants will form interdisciplinary teams and carry out collaborative research. These projects will encourage participants to diversify their research areas, and explore unique solutions to their research problems.
Eligibility criteria: Have a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline from a potential partner university.
- Innovation Building: Participants will attend research workshops conducted by leading experts in various fields. These workshops will cover wide-ranging topics such as research methodology, academic writing, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will be exposed to newer ideas and they will be encouraged to take innovation seriously.
Eligibility criteria: Scholars must be under the age of 42 years.
- Mentorship: Each participant will be thoroughly supervised by a senior faculty at JGU. Moreover, each participant will be given a chance to provide guidance and support to students and other participants. Mentors will help participants refine their research ideas, navigate academic challenges, and prepare for future career opportunities.
Eligibility criteria: Scholars must demonstrate interest in research and publications.
