National Academy of Medicine Call for Applications: Leadership for Innovation and Excellence in Accelerating Research on Women’s Health (LEA-WH)
The National Academy of Medicine is calling for applications for its Program: Leadership for Innovation and Excellence in Accelerating Research on Women’s Health (LEA-WH), which aims to build capacity and leadership in women’s health research and innovation across Africa.
he Scholars selected for the program will be provided with training delivered by the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), the host institution for the program, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities facilitated by NAM, to help them achieve this goal.
Working in partnership with KEMRI, NAM will implement this three-year program to engage a cohort of up to 20 Scholars each year for three years in a series of in-person and virtual convenings, to be supplemented by asynchronous professional development activities.
