The Mastercard Foundation in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) and Kepler College (Rwanda) is offering 40 fully funded graduate scholarships in the framework of its 2026 Innovation and Technology Scholarship. This opportunity is designed for exceptional your African leaders eager to advance their education, strengthen their leadership capacity, and contribute to Africa’s social and economic transformation.
Available degree Programs:
- MS Global Technology and Development
- MSE Sustainable Engineering
- MS Information Technology
- MS Business Analytics
- MEd Learning Design and Technologies
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of an African Country with demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership and community engagement.
- Be between 18 and 33 years old by the application deadline.
- Have earned an undergraduate degree by July 2026.
- Must not have started or completed another graduate or master’s program before July 2026.
- Meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements of the chosen ASU program.
- Be able to reside in Kigali, Rwanda for the duration of the program.
The program strongly encourages applications from women, refugees, displaced persons, and people with disabilities.
Scholarship coverage:
- Visa application and processing cost.
- English language and program application fees.
- Round trip travel to and from Kigali, Rwanda.
- Full tuition, books , and academic fees.
- Medical coverage.
- Student housing and living expenses.
- Participation in all leadership and mentorship programming.
