MARCAD Call for Application: Capacity Building in Modeling applied to Malaria Vectors

The MAalaria Research Capacity Development (MARCAD) Consortium is calling for application for capacity building in modeling applied to malaria vectors.

Objectives

To strengthen the capacity in mathematical and spatial modelling applied to malaria vectors with a view to the elimination of the disease
To set up a network of malaria modellers at national and sub-Saharan level.

Eligibility:

Students holding or enrolled in a master’s degree in Entomology, Parasitology, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Biomathematics, Health Geography or other equivalent qualifications.
Knowledge of malaria epidemiology and modelling software would be an advantage.
