La Caixa Foundation Call for Applications: Doctoral INPhINIT fellowships – Retaining Call 2024
The “La Caixa” Foundation is calling for applications to the Doctoral INPhINIT fellowships (Retaining Call 2024). The “La Caixa” Foundation grants 30 fellowships for researchers of all nationalities who wish to pursue a doctorate in any discipline and university or research center in Spain or Portugal.
Requirements of the call:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: candidates cannot have carried out more than four years of research activity before the call closes.
- Studies completed: at the time of recruitment, candidates must have completed the studies that allow them to enroll in an official doctoral program in Spain/Portugal. Verification of the required level of studies will be carried out by the destination university when the admission procedure begins.Candidates may not have been enrolled in a doctoral program prior to the start of the scholarship.
- Mobility: candidates must have resided or have carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain/Portugal for more than twelve months in the three years immediately preceding the closing date of the call.
- English level: candidates must prove the required level of English by presenting one of the certificates specified in the call’s rules.
- In addition, candidates who finally obtain the scholarship must complete their doctorate at a university other than the university where they completed their undergraduate studies.
Funding details:
- Maximum duration of 4 years.
- Funding to cover labour costs, research costs and doctoral tuition fees.
