“la Caixa” Foundation Flash Calls for proposals to support quantitative survey research projects (FP24-2B)
The Social Observatory of the ”la Caixa” Foundation announces the opening of a call for proposals to support research projects in the social sciences based on new quantitative research, with the aim of studying society as a whole, as well as the social impacts of a particular phenomenon.
Ojectives:
- Research based on original, novel, meaningful and robust quantitative surveys. We seek proposals capable of generating data beyond existing data on socioeconomic variables.
- The subject of the survey is free, as long as it belongs to a discipline of the Social Sciences.
- The emphasis will be on selecting projects that offer the best methodological guarantees.
- The research should generate quantitative evidence. If desired, and if the survey format allows, complementary qualitative data can be collected.
- The survey should be carried out on a representative sample of the population under study, and should cover as wide a territorial scope as possible.
- Data can be collected through a telephone, online or face-to-face survey.
- The surveys should be carried out in collaboration with professional pollsters who, under the guidance of the research team, are able to guarantee the proper execution of the fieldwork.
- These investigations will have to make the full journey from hypotheses to conclusions in 12 months.
Eligibility:
-
The call is open to proposals led by researchers of any nationality who conduct their activity at universities, research centres or private non-profit organisations engaged in research and based in Portugal.
Funding details:
