JITMM Virtual Meeting 2020: Tropical disease control amid the COVID-19 pandemic
The Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting (JITMM) is the largest tropical-medicine conference in Southeast Asia. It aims to provide a platform for researchers and health practitioners from around the world to share and discuss the latest developments and trends in tropical medicine, global health, and infectious diseases. JITMM has been held annually for 25 years and this year it will be held virtually on December 15 -16, 2020 with the theme “Tropical disease control amid the COVID-19 pandemic”.
JITMM Virtual 2020 will highlight the impact of the pandemic on our ability to prevent, manage and control tropical diseases and co-existing/ related diseases, and will discuss trends in tropical medicine research post-pandemic. A variety of online symposia will cover all aspects of tropical medicine.
