ISAC Call for Proposals: ISAC Project Grants 2026
The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) is calling for proposal for its Project Grants 2026 , offering funding to support innovative research projects that can make a real-world impact on infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and healthcare systems worldwide.
Research Priority Areas:
- Prevention of transmission of resistant pathogens in low-resource settings
- Essential laboratory support needed to tackle infectious diseases
- Improving antimicrobial use worldwide
- Effective communication strategies to prevent the spread of infectious diseases
Eligibility Highlights:
- At least one investigator must be from a low- or middle-income country
- Projects must involve at least two countries
- The principal applicant must be a member of an ISAC Member Society
- Projects can run for up to 24 months and 6-monthly updates are required.
- Awardees will be expected to present at an ISAC webinar and at the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
Funding details:Â
- Funding Available Up to £15,000 for a clearly defined research project with measurable outcomes.
- Grant recipients receive 50% of the funding upfront and the remaining 50% upon project completion.
- Funds can be used for staff or materials.
