iDiv Call for Proposals: Fellowship Programme 2026
The German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiV) is calling for proposals for its IDiV Fellowship Programme 2026.
General rules:
- Applications are welcome from all areas of biodiversity research, ranging from biology to social and computational sciences, and should be closely aligned with the iDiv Science strategy.
- Fellowship projects may include a reasonable amount of laboratory or fieldwork.
- The Fellowship Programme is quite flexible in terms of timing, project topics, and ideas on how to integrate into the iDiv community. It is designed to attract scientists working in biodiversity research for stays of up to one year.
- At least one iDiv memberÂ
- Minimum 50% of the time at iDiv Core Centre in Leipzig
- iDiv encourages applications from underrepresented regions to ensure a broad range of scientific voices
iDiv funding:Â
- Fellowship projects must be completed by December 2027.
- Monthly stipend: up to 3,500€ depending on other funding sources
- If applicable, a monthly child allowance (€400 for the first child and €100 for each additional child) will be provided, as well as one round trip per fellow (or family) between the place of residence and Leipzig.
