The Global Fund Request for Proposals: Malaria Specialists

The Global Fund (TGF) opened a call for two Malaria Specialists (Malaria HBHI Implementation). The Consultant will work in close collaboration with the Malaria Team and will provide technical guidance to Country Teams to support the implementation of the Global Fund HBHI response element in select portfolios through the use of strategic information to drive impact in order to address the need by national malaria control programs (NMCPs) and technical partners for context-specific analysis. The period of the consultancy will be between June 2020 and May 2023.

Tasks:

1. National malaria data repositories
2. Progress review
3. Analysis of stratification, intervention mixes and prioritization
4. Sub-national operational plans
5. Monitoring and evaluation
6. Lessons learned capitalization and sharing

Deliverables:

1. Support the development of National Strategic Plans based on available data, with clear stratification of Malaria Epis as per context, with clear mix of interventions by disease stratum and operational variability;
2. Support the establishment and/or strengthening of data repositories and contribute to information transparency and accountability;
3. Work Plan or clear roadmap on proposed support to countries with a clear monitoring framework;
4. Annual progress reports and mid-year updates;
5. Documentation and dissemination of successful approaches in malaria response, including country stakeholder and partner engagements;
6. Any other duties that may be assigned.
