GLIDE Application Call: 2025 Falcon Awards for Disease Elimination
The Global Institute for Disease Elimination (GLIDE) calls for applications for the 2025 Falcon Awards for Disease Elimination.
The aim of the 2025 awards is to advance the body of knowledge and evidence for integrated approaches for the elimination of infectious diseases. Through these awards, GLIDE is accepting concept proposals for research projects and advocacy initiatives that (upon selection) will be co-created with GLIDE, meaning selected applicants will have the opportunity to collaboratively refine and develop full project plans with the GLIDE team. All concepts should aim to meet one or more of the following objectives:
- Generating evidence and testing approaches to advance the elimination of infectious diseases through integrated approaches.
- Disseminating knowledge to enhance understanding and catalyse action for integrated disease elimination strategies.
- Supporting local or regional advocacy efforts to advance integrated approaches to disease elimination.
- Raising awareness of and for integrated disease elimination strategies and approaches.
- Cultivating partnerships aimed at advancing elimination through integrated approaches that enhance knowledge or evidence around the transmission, control, elimination, and eradication of infectious diseases.

Applications must come from within an organization or entity with demonstrated experience in disease elimination. The following entities are eligible to apply:
- National or regional academic or research institutions
- Government entities
