GHIT Fund Call for Proposals: Target Research Platform 2025

The Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT Fund) announces the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Target Research Platform (TRP).

The TRP is intentionally broad and offers support for innovative global health R&D as follows:

Standard TRP Award: early-stage research into novel technologies and approaches
Strategic Innovation and Market Assessment Award (SIMA Award): market assessment of a disease/technology market/landscape or market strategy analysis for a specific technology/product
R&D Accelerator Award: bridging activities for current/previous GHIT-funded projects by supporting supplemental activities

Proposed projects should primarily originate from or materially involve Japanese science, technology and/or know-how.

Eligibility criteria:

The proposal must align with the Project Scope, Disease Scope, Project Duration, and Budget of each Award as outlined in this document.
Each proposal must have at least one Japanese organization and one non-Japanese organization
Each organization must submit a certified copy of its registration and financial statements (audited by an independent auditor) from the most recent 3 fiscal years.
