GeneConvene Global Collaborative Webinar on “Considerations for the First Field Trials of Gene Drive for Malaria”
The GeneConvene Global Collaborative, partnering with Filippo (Fil) Randazzo, organizes a working group to discuss key questions for the design and implementation of the first gene drive field trials for malaria. The members of that working group collaborated on a recently published paper in the Malaria Journal on “Considerations for first field trials of low‑threshold gene drive for malaria vector control”.
Date: Thursday, 10 Oct, 2024
Time: 9am ET / 1300 GMT
Please join the webinar to hear about the insights from that paper, the current efforts of researchers to prepare for field trials, and the regulatory governance of gene drive field trials.
