GCC Call for Proposals: CIP-Ghana Pilot Funding Opportunities
Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) calls for proposals for the Country Innovation Platform (CIP) Ghana Pilot funding opportunities. CIP-Ghana is a partnership between the Ghana Health Service, USAID’s Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) and USAID/Ghana, Grand Challenges Canada and AMP Health. This pilot program aims to identify and support innovations in the area of maternal and newborn health (MNH) within Ghana. Through this Request for Proposals, the CIP-Ghana Partners seek bold ideas to support Ghana’s ambition to increase access to quality MNH services.
Eligibility:
- Organizations incorporated in North, West, East, Central and Southern Africa are eligible to apply, as well as Canadian institutions.
- All innovations must be implemented in two of the six target regions within Ghana.
Funding details:
- Successful proposals will be awarded seed grants of CAD $200,000 – CAD $250,000 for a period of 12 to 18 months to develop and test the proposed innovation.
