CDC Calls for Field Epidemiologist

The World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is looking for highly qualified public health professionals with malaria experience, to join the STOP-Malaria Program for a 11-month assignment. Recruitment for the STOP-Malaria (with deployment beginning June-July 2020) is open now, 5-31 July 2019.

These participants will be deployed through the World Health Organization (WHO), a STOP/CDC partner, to countries requiring support and technical assistance in surveillance, and malaria case investigation and response activities.

STOP-Malaria Field Epidemiology participants which will provide expertise to support countries with malaria elimination goals, need to be extremely motivated and flexible individuals, who can work well independently and on teams, under difficult conditions, and with people of different cultures.
