ASTMH call for Applications: ASTMH Distinguished International Fellow 2026
The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) is calling for applications for ASTMH Distinguished International Fellow.
The ASTMH Distinguished International Fellow designation formally recognizes individuals who have made eminent contributions to a particular aspect of tropical medicine and global health over their career, typically over decades, as evidenced by research and publications, clinical acumen, public health policy, and/or education.
Eligibility:
- Nominations are limited to non-U.S. citizens. Individuals who maintain dual or multiple citizenship which includes U.S. are not eligible and self-nomination is not allowed.
- Nominations of candidates from low- and middle-income countries are encouraged.
- Individuals nominated but not selected may be renominated, with the new nomination clearly detailing additional nominee activities that meet the criteria
- The nominator must be an ASTMH member but membership or previous engagement with the Society is not required of nominees.
