APMEN: 6th International Malaria Vector Surveillance for Elimination (MVSE) Course
The Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN) Vector Control Working Group (VCWG), in collaboration with the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, and Malaria Consortium, will be organizing the 6th International Course on Malaria Vector Surveillance for Elimination (MVSE).
Date: 23 June to 4 July 2025
Location: Bangkok, Thailand.
Based on the training needs expressed by national malaria programmes in the region during past APMEN annual conferences, meetings, and training needs assessment, the APMEN VCWG has been organizing targeted courses on vector surveillance—recognized as the foundation of effective vector control interventions. This year, the 6th MVSE course will focus on the Greater Mekong Subregion, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. The course will offer comprehensive modules, delivered by global and regional experts, and will include both theoretical and practical components, as well as field visits.
