AMP 2023 Annual Partners Meeting and Campaign Digitalization Meeting

Each year The Alliance for Malaria Prevention (AMP), a global partnership housed and chaired by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), organizes its Annual Partners Meeting. After two years of virtual meetings, we are pleased to invite you to the 2023 meeting which will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both face-to-face and online participation, in Nairobi, Kenya. This year’s Annual Partners Meeting will be followed by a two-day Campaign Digitalization Meeting on 10 and 11 May, the meeting will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both face-to-face and online participation, in Nairobi, Kenya. The topic of both meetings is “Tailoring and Prioritizing Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Interventions”.

  • Annual Partners Meeting: May 8 – 9, 2023
  • Campaign Digitalization Meeting: May 10 – 11, 2023

Place: virtual and Nairobi, Kenya

This year’s AMP Annual Partners Meeting will look into:

  1. Deployment of new ITN types: Results from the New Nets Project and lessons learned for future planning
  2. Sub-national tailoring for ITNs: Approaches and quantification
  3. Improving planning, measurement and availability of data for decision-making
  4. ITN quality and post-market monitoring

The Campaign Digitalization Meeting will include the following thematic areas:

  1. Implementer perspectives on lessons learned, success and challenges
  2. Improving campaign outcomes using geospatial tools
  3. Real time monitoring with digital tools
  4. Capacity building for sustainable digitalization
  5. Product solutions to address common problems across health campaign interventions
  6. Establishing a digitalization framework and governance structure
  7. Use of digitalization for improving service delivery
  8. Systems integration, data sharing and interoperability

Staff from national malaria programmes and implementing, technical and financial partners will attend and present their strategies and lessons learned from ITN distribution activities. The meeting provides a vital opportunity for sharing experiences and research results, and mobilizing partnerships around identified gaps for achieving and sustaining ITN universal coverage objectives.
