9th WACCBIP Research Conference (WRC) 2025
The WACCBIP Research Conference “Evolving African Science from Capacity Building to Discovery and Impact“ is an annual showcase of the research conducted at the Centre by its faculty and fellows, and the research conducted in collaboration with its partners across the world. The Conference also features talks from world-leading researchers and industry stalwarts, who have strong connections to the Centre.
Date: July 23 – 25, 2025
Place: Online and University of Ghana, Accra
WRC 2025 conference will accept abstracts under eight (8) thematic areas:
- Immune Responses and Disease Pathogenesis
- Molecular Diagnostics and Assay Development
- Drug Discovery, Mechanism and Resistance
- Host-Pathogen Interactions
- Emerging and Re-emerging Pathogens
- Molecular Epidemiology for Enhanced Surveillance and Epidemic Preparedness
- Human Genetics and Non-Communicable Diseases
- Special Topics (Vaccines and Biotherapeutics)
To present at the conference (Oral/Poster) you are required to submit an abstract not exceeding 350 words in English via the registration portal, and upload the same in MS Word format, as directed below.
Conference attendance is also open to non-presenters. Registration is free for all.
