5th International Conference on Malaria and related Haemosporidian Parasites of Wildlife

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Conference on Malaria and related Haemosporidian Parasites of Wildlife. It is a great opportunity to present research results, exchange ideas, and share with each other concepts and knowledge in the field. The conference will take place in Bielefeld, Germany, September 5 - 8, 2022.

Date: September 5 - 8, 2022

Place: Bielefeld, Germany

Like previous conferences of the series, the 5th is centred on haemosporidian and similar blood parasites of wildlife, therefore bypassing research exclusively concentrating on human malaria parasites. As mostly non-Plasmodium researchers, the local organisers, are particularly thrilled to host such an event, encompassing diversity across the phylogenies of hosts, vectors, and parasites, as well as their diverse physiologies and evolutionary strategies.

* COVID19 fit: In order to minimise risks by infection and changing state-wide regulations, we advise you to travel to Germany with a certificate of being fully vaccinated or covid19-recovered. With respect of potential infections, lock-downs and defaulting to online - we advise you to have a travel insurance covering potential cancellations of your flight/train and/or accomodation booking.
