20th meeting of the Malaria Policy Advisory Group (MPAG)
The Malaria Policy Advisory Group (MPAG) – formerly called Malaria Policy Advisory Committee – provides independent, strategic advice to the World Health Organization (WHO) on all technical areas relating to malaria control and elimination. MPAG brings together some of the world’s foremost experts on malaria, and convenes twice a year in Geneva.
The 20th Malaria Policy Advisory Group (MPAG) meeting will take place virtually on October 4, 5, 6 and 7. The initial 2-day meeting will be followed by a 1-day joint SAGE/MPAG session focused on the RTS,S malaria vaccine. The final day of the meeting is a closed session for MPAG and SAGE members only. Interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish. Technical partners, UN agencies, and other members of the global malaria community are welcome to attend.
