The concept of gene drive

This short explanatory video introduces the concept of ‘gene drive’ by first recalling patterns of inheritance that familiar and expected. There are many elements of genomes that show or have shown drive. These are generally referred to as selfish genetic elements. Other uses of the term gene drive are mentioned.
