Technical Tutorial – QGIS

This course introduces QGIS software. QGIS is a widely used GIS software with a vast array of functionalities from spatial data analysis, data integration and visualisation. It is licence free, meaning that it is a great software to use and build capacity with.

• Describe how to set up QGIS;
• List the steps in creating a simple map;
• Understand what classifying data does to the data;
