The Strategic Plan for Integrated Genomics in Mozambique (PLAGIM) 2026–2035 aims to strengthen laboratory surveillance and the One Health approach in the country by integrating genomic data to improve human, animal, and environmental health.
The plan, developed by the National Institute of Health (INS) in collaboration with various institutions, establishes five strategic objectives and eight priority areas to address diseases with significant impact. The implementation of PLAGIM seeks to create a unified and sustainable national system for genomic data analysis and sharing, promoting disease prevention and control.
