Malaria Vaccine Data Explorer – VIEW-hub (by IVAC)

Published: 03/03/2026

The VIEW-hub Malaria Vaccines Data Explorer is an online, interactive tool developed by the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at Johns Hopkins to track the introduction and use of malaria vaccines across countries. The dashboard features country-level data on vaccine introduction and use, including delivery approach (age-based, seasonal, or hybrid) and product used (RTS,S or R21).

The tool includes:

  • Introduction & Use – information on where malaria vaccines have been introduced and how they are being used.
  • Data Download – downloadable underlying data for further analysis.
  • Disease Burden – data providing context on the malaria burden.
  • Product Characteristics – information on the malaria vaccine products.

The module forms part of the broader VIEW-hub platform, which provides regularly updated data on vaccine introduction and use worldwide, as well as a malaria vaccines topic page that explores the introduction of these vaccines and their impact as part of a broader prevention strategy.
