Guidelines for the Use of Spatial Repellents in Kenya

This document aims to guide the implementation of spatial repellents as an additional vector control tool to help achieve the ambitious targets set in Kenya’s Malaria Strategy 2023-2027.

The guidelines provide a comprehensive national framework for:

• Deployment in high-burden and epidemic-prone counties
• Integration with LLINs and existing vector control strategies
• Community engagement and social behaviour change communication
• Supply chain, distribution, and waste management
• Monitoring, evaluation, and operational research
