Rationale and Abstract

China- Myanmar border is the main area where malaria is imported to China, where we have found that dramatic increases of vivax malaria cases recently. However,whether this is caused by drug resistance has not been systematically studied. The result of this study, molecular methods and processes to monitor the drugs resistance, will be valuable tools for drugs resistance monitoring. A better understanding of drug resistant in China- Myanmar border will be benefit to guide the malarial therapy and benefit monitoring malarial drug resistance, guide safe and reasonable malarial therapy.
