Spatial analysis of the dynamics of malaria transmission in a hydroelectric plant area in the brazilian amazon

The main objective of this study is to evaluate the spatial distribution of the dynamics of malaria transmission in a hydroelectric plant area in the Brazilian Amazon.
Parasitic diseases transmitted by winged vectors have historically been prevalent in well-established geographic areas, in accordance with favorable environmental conditions. From the moment that environmental issues began to directly influence the environment and that the climatic, pluviometric, humidity and other profiles underwent sudden changes, the possibility of the advancement of environmental barriers to the expansion of the geographic limits of these problems, such as leishmaniasis, dengue, malaria, Chagas disease, among others, has become a concern for health managers in relation to the implementation and impact of epidemiological surveillance control measures, especially in the municipalities of the Amazon. Among the main factors that favor the transmission of diseases caused by vectors are increase in population, disorderly urbanization, migration of susceptible individuals, deforestation due to different proposals, construction of roads and highways in the forests, construction of hydroelectric plants, use of subsoil for extracting mineral wealth.
