Predicting the impact of insecticide resistance and new paradigms of vector control

Objectives

Investment in vector control in recent years has resulted in an increasing number of candidate compounds and methods for delivery.  

Mathematical models will be used to:

1. Investigate the impact of insecticide resistance under different resistance scenarios;
2. To evaluate the epidemiological importance of different reactive agents and formulations with different TPPs;
3. To explore selected new paradigms in vector control that work through new mechanisms of action.
